The Beginning

In 1959, Robert Guignard, a postal worker and cab driver, decided to lend a hand in Rivière-Ouelle and its surroundings by transporting students to Collège Sainte-Anne-de-la-Pocatière by snowmobile.

Growth

The company continued to grow. In 1994, Transport Daniel Guignard acquired Autocar Lord in Sainte-Louise, along with its 10 school buses and luxury coach. This acquisition ushered in a new era for the company, which became Autocar Bas St-Laurent and began specializing in chartered transportation.
